Transaction Fees Overview

Overview of spot trading fees:

  Maker Fees Taker Fee Rate
All spot trading pairs 0.10% 0.10%

Spot Fee Calculation Formula = Transaction Quantity x Transaction Fee Rate

The following is an example of a spot transaction of BTC/USDT:

If the current price of BTC is $40,000, a trader can use $20,000 to buy or sell 0.5 BTC

Trader A buys 0.5 BTC using USDT in a market order

Trader B uses BTC to buy 20,000 USDT with a limit order

Trader A (Taker fee) = 0.5 x 0.1% = 0.0005 BTC

Trader B (Maker Fee) = 20,000 x 0.1% = 20 USDT

After the order is completed,

Trader A buys 0.5 BTC using USDT in a market order, so he will pay a Taker fee of 0.0005 BTC and he will receive 0.4995 BTC after the order is executed.

Trader B buys 20,000 USDT using BTC in a limit order, so he will pay a Maker fee of 20 USDT and he will receive 19,980 USDT after the order is filled.

Note:

  • The transaction fee is charged based on the cryptocurrency the trader is buying.

  • No transaction fees will be charged for unfulfilled portions of orders or cancelled orders.
